Source. Every number on this plate was read twice: once in the capture in reference/1-decoration/adoptables/ dated 2 August 2026, and again live on 24 August 2026 to check it still held. gify.pet re-fetched at 15,729 bytes, identical to the capture; gifypet.neocities.org now redirects there, which the capture's own file table predates. The nine query parameters, the 314 by 321 iframe, the 200 by 200 room, the 80 by 100 pet slot, the dashed cell borders and the six foods at five coins each are read off index.html, pet/pet.html and pet/pet.css. The behavior is read out of pet/pet.js, 19,023 bytes, in full: mood, belly and coins are three ordinary variables set to 50, 50 and 10, belly and mood fall 0.3 a tick and floor at 10, coins accrue at mood over 600, a feed costs 5 and is refused above belly 80, and the master loop is setInterval(loop, 1000), which is exactly the site's own 1 FPS Render! claim. There is no localStorage, no cookie and no network call anywhere in that file, which is why the plate can say the pet has no record. The element parameter does nothing: it is written into a span and never read again, checked against every occurrence. The 26,809 and 27,283 feed counts, the 36,134 and 37,151 populations, the 2014 - footer, the 56 by 78 server-rendered pet at 851 bytes, the 88 by 31 site badge and the Real Slim Shades [1k Clicks], Tiny Dapper Tie [500 Clicks] line are from tamanotchi.world and tamanotchi.world/271. The 21.5 feeds a day the ticker replays is the difference between those two readings divided by the 22 days between them, and it is the only figure here that was not simply copied.

The twelve creatures are real, and neither site's own art is among them. They are orphan GIFs recovered from GeoCities pages by the Internet Archive, found through GifCities, fetched once each and served from this origin rather than hotlinked, with every source page URL, dimension, frame count and byte size recorded in public/yahew-assets/adoptables/manifest.json. Nobody owns them in any way that can be established: GifCities states no license and cannot, because the Archive does not hold one either. They are credited and rehosted, not claimed. None of gify.pet's or tamanotchi.world's sprites ship here, because tamanotchi's are made by its users and gify.pet's demo art is explicitly borrowed from two named living people, which is the one thing this guide will not pass along. The first-frame stills used under prefers-reduced-motion are cut out of the same files by byte surgery, so the pixels are still the original author's and only the later frames are gone.

Everything drawn on this page was drawn for this page. The Tiny Dapper Tie, the Real Slim Shades and the six shop foods are pixel grids written by hand and emitted as SVG, matched to tamanotchi's item names and gify.pet's shop order but copied from neither. Their anchor points are set by hand, one pair per creature, which is not a shortcut: a server compositing items onto sprites needs the same numbers per species, and gify.pet skipped that step and pins its commented-out hat at left: 30px for every pet it has. The pet frame is a recreation of gify.pet's chrome and is labeled as one on the plate.

The ticker is a simulation and nothing on this page counts anybody. It replays a measured rate at one second to the day, and it says so on its face, including that the real wait is three weeks for the tie and six and a half for the shades. There is no store behind it, no cookie, and nothing written down: the plate deliberately does not persist mood or belly, because gify.pet does not either, and adding storage would quietly undo the argument. The only state that survives is what the address bar carries.

Deliberately absent. Any Neopets petpage specifics: neopets.com returns HTTP 403 to a plain client and could not be read, so nothing about it is asserted. Whether loading a tamanotchi pet image on your own page feeds it, or whether only a visit to /271c does: the markup links the image to that path and the two counters print the same integer, but the difference was not tested, because testing it means feeding a stranger's pet. When adoptables started, how many ever existed, and any claim that a particular thing ended them: none of that is in these captures. adoptables.neocities.org is kept in the reference folder as negative evidence: it is a modern gacha toy with no adopt code and no link-back economy, and it is not the same artifact.
